Specimens must be delivered to the laboratory within 30 minutes of collection. Specimens obtained with barium, mineral oil, bismuth, iron, or magnesium compounds are not acceptable. (Specimens obtained with saline enema or Fleet® Phospho®-Soda are acceptable.) |
