Reference Range: 23.2 - 34.6 seconds

Critical Values:

>100 seconds
Causes for Specimen Rejection:  Improper labeling.
Clotted specimens.
Hemolysis.
Specimens diluted with I.V. fluid or contaminated with heparin.
Specimens that are too old (>2 hours).
Tubes must be filled to top of blue line on label.
