| Preparation of Patient: |
Patient must be fasting for at least 10 hours but
not more than 12 hours preceding the test. Patient should avoid
coffee, smoking and unusual physical activity for at least 8 hours
prior to the test. Patient should not smoke during the test. Water
is allowed.
Patient
must drink the glucose tolerance beverage within 5 minutes. |
