NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital Emergency Department
People living or staying in the Wrightsville Beach area can find convenient and friendly emergency care at NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital. The NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital Emergency Department provides care for more than 38,000 patients annually.
The NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians employed by Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians (ECEP) and supported by 24-hour radiology and laboratory services. Nurses are required to be certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course), or BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support). They are also encouraged to obtain their CEN (Certificate in Emergency Nursing).
